THE NORTH EAST RIVERS FESTIVAL website has extensive information about the annual Derby River Derby.
B ringing the sleepy town or Derby to life for its one big day of the year. The Derby River Derby has been described as the icon event of the North East or madness and mayhem on water. Whichever way you look at it, you don't have to be crazy to enter-- but it certainly helps.

Come along and join the several thousand people who turn out to support the day with woodchopping, children's rides, crafts, clothes and jewellery stalls, a local band and an assortment of food and drink stalls to keep you entertained through out the day.
